LaRose Iron (b. 1995-96) is the youngest son of Landreaux and Emmaline Iron. After Landreaux accidentally shoots Dusty, the youngest son of Peter and Nola Ravich, the Irons give LaRose to them. Initially, LaRose cannot stop crying, but he soon finds a sense of responsibility towards his new mother Nola who has fallen into a depression after her son’s death.

LaRose is the fifth LaRose, inheriting a strong sensitivity towards spirits and the spiritual world from his grandmothers. He slowly befriends his new sister Maggie and together they keep Nola from committing suicide.
